10.1

Use of the Capital Improvement Fund for the FirstOntario Performing Arts Center Reserve

Councillor Garcia will present the following motion:

 

WHEREAS at its meeting of February 23, 2021, the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre Board discussed the need to undertake certain capital improvements, the merits of undertaking these projects while use of the facility is impacted by COVID-19, and approved a motion to request to fund these projects from the PAC's capital reserve fund;

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council approve the use of approximately $154,000 in 2021 from the Capital Improvement Fund for the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre Reserve to carry out projects related to the venue floors (Partridge Hall, Robertson Theatre, RBC and Multipurpose room) and Robertson Theatre level washroom stalls.
